In den 1920er Jahren war Nürnberg das Zentrum der Zweiradindustrie. Darunter auch die Velozipedfabrik Hercules, besser bekannt unter dem Namen Hercules Werke. Das Unternehmen stellte von 1886 bis 1928 hauptsächlich Fahrräder her. Erst in den darauffolgenden Jahren wurde die Produktion auf Mopeds, Mofas und Mokicks bis 200 ccm³ umgestellt.
Der Kupplungsdruckstift ist in der Getriebevorlegewelle verbaut und drückt mit Hilfe des Kupplungshebels die Kupplungsdruckplatte in Richtung des Federtellers. Dadurch werden die Kupplungslamellen nicht mehr aneinander gepresst und die kraftschlüssige Verbindung ist nicht mehr gegeben. Dieser Druckstift hat eine Länge von 47 mm.
