The velocipede factory Carl Marschütz & Co. is nowadays probably better known as Nürnberger Hercules Werke. In 1886 the Marschütz brothers founded the company and until 1928 mainly produced bicycles. From this time on, the production of small motorcycles was worthwhile again due to the exemption from driving licence and tax. The Hercules factories used engines from Fichtel & Sachs since 1930.
The clutch pressure pin presses the pressure plate towards the spring plate. The clutch springs are compressed and there is more space between the clutch plates. The plates are no longer pressed against each other and the frictional connection is eliminated. This clutch pressure pin has a length of 6 mm.
