DESCRIPTION:
The valve stem seal is fitted to the valve stem above the valve head and below the spring, providing an even film of lubrication. If it is defective, engine oil enters the combustion chamber via the valves.
In the manufacturing process only selected materials, which are designed for highest loads, were used. A long service life is thus "pre-programmed".
