Die Traditionsmarke Zündapp stellte von 1921 bis 1984 Mopeds bzw. Motorräder her und war einst der erfolgreichste Motorradhersteller Nürnbergs. Im Jahre 1984 ging das Unternehmen, aufgrund der Krise in der Motorradindustrie in Konkurs. Dennoch ist Zündapp nicht komplett von der Bildfläche verschwunden. Viele Zündapp-Freunde organisieren sich in Clubs und halten somit den Mythos "Zündapp" in Ehren.

Das hier angebotene Bremsgestänge ist passend für Zündapp C, GTS, KS 50 und KS 80 der Typen 529 und 530. Das Gestänge überträgt die Kraft, die auf das Bremspedal aufgebracht wird, auf den Bremshebel der Hinterradbremse. Die Bremsstange verläuft direkt über dem Auspuff zur Trommelbremse im Hinterrad und ist ca. 57 cm lang. Dieses Gestänge ist das sogenannte "Neue Modell" und passend ab dem Baujahr 1975. Es hat ein M6 Gewinde am Ende der Bremsstange.
