With the development of the YA-1, Yamaha started the production of motorbikes. Therefore the Yamaha Motor Company was founded in 1955. It was a copy of the DKW RT 125.
With this clutch pressure pin or push rod, the clutch pressure plate is pushed away from the base plate. As a result, the clutch plates are no longer pressed against each other and the friction-locked connection is no longer given.
