Suzuki's motorbike production began in 1952 with the "Power Free" motorised bike. The Japanese manufacturer had previously produced looms and worked on a prototype car. To this day, Suzuki is one of the largest manufacturers of motorbikes.
In order for the kick starter to accelerate the crankshaft to the speed required for starting, a connection must be made between the lever and the gearbox or crankshaft. This is where the kick starter shaft comes into play. At the end of the shaft, the kickstarter lever is attached outside the engine casing.
