Im Jahre 1987 wurde die erste Saxonette, mit dem uns heute bekannten Radnabenmotor gebaut. Es handelt sich hierbei um den Motor Typ 301 von Fichtel & Sachs. Er hat einen Hubraum von 30 cm³ und leistet 0,7 PS. Die Saxonette wurde auch in Großbritannien und in den Niederlanden unter dem Handelsnamen Spartamet verkauft.

Mit dieser Zündspule wird ein Hochspannungsimpuls erzeugt, der über das Zündkabel zur Zündkerze gelangt und das Benzin-Luft-Gemisch entzündet. Diese Spule ist passend für die Zündanlage Ihrer Saxonette ohne E-Starter.
