Die ZÜNDer-APParatebau-Gesellschaft bzw. Zündapp-Werke GmbH war einer der großen deutschen Hersteller für Motorräder in der Zeit von 1921 bis 1984. Der Hauptsitz lag bis 1958 in Nürnberg und wurde danach nach München verlegt. Gegründet wurde die Ursprunggesellschaft 1916 von Herrn Fritz Ludwig Neumeyer.
Der Schwimmer besteht aus einem Kunststoffgehäuse mit einem Metallscharnier. Er ist zentral im Schwimmergehäuse verbaut und ringförmig um die Hauptdüse angeordnet. Die Aufgabe des Schwimmers ist es die Kraftstoffhöhe in der Kammer konstant zu halten. Ist die vorgeschriebene Höhe erreicht, dann ist der auf dem Schwimmer gelagerte Stift so weit angehoben, dass die Schwimmernadel das Zulaufventil verschließt. Passend ist dieser Schwimmer für Bing Vergaser mit 10, 12, 16 und 17 mm Durchlass.
