DESCRIPTION:
The main jet ensures that exactly the right amount of gasoline is always available for premixing.
If the main jet is changed, this mainly affects the middle and upper speed range.
If it is too small, the engine stalls under full load and/or runs so lean that the piston and cylinder overheat, resulting in cylinder damage.
If, on the other hand, it is set too high, the mixture becomes over-rich, the engine runs very unevenly and can only deliver a fraction of its possible power.
The ideal compromise must be found here.
