Das passende Ersatzteil für Ihren ILO-Motor finden Sie hier!

Die ILO-Motorenwerke wurden 1911 geründet und stellten ab 1918 den ersten Zweitaktmotor her. Dieser wurde in einer Gleisstopfmaschine verbaut. Den ersten Motor für Zweiräder produzierte ILO im Jahr 1924. Viele namhafte Hersteller verbauten diese Motoren. Einer der bekanntesten ILO Motoren ist der ILO-Piano-Motor. Piano (italienisch = leise), da im Motor keine laute Kette lief, sondern schon ein leiser Zahnriemen.

Der Kolbenring ist nicht kreisrund und auch nicht geschlossen. Erst im Einbauzustand wird der Ring in Kreisform gedrückt. Zu seinen Aufgaben zählen die richtige Dosierung des Schmieröls, die Ableitung der Verbrennungswärme und die Abdichtung des Arbeitsraumes.
