Das Unternehmen wurde 1886 von Carl Marschütz gegründet und fertigte bis 1928 hauptsächlich Fahrräder. Erst nach 1928 lohnte sich die Produktion von motorisierten Zweirädern unter 200 ccm³ wieder.
