The velocipede factory Carl Marschütz & Co. is nowadays probably better known as Nuremberg Hercules Werke. In 1886 the Marschütz brothers founded the company and produced mainly bicycles until 1928. From this time on, the production of small motorcycles became profitable again, due to the exemption from driving licenses and taxes. The Hercules factories used engines from Fichtel & Sachs since 1930.

With this screw the front wheel strut is fixed to the vehicle.
