DESCRIPTION:
The Vespa S is one of the most beautiful Vesps and by its angular headlight, it is a reminiscence of the seventies and the legendary Vespa 50 N. This scooter model was built until 2014 and then replaced by the somehow chubby Vespa Sprint. So who still owns an S, maintain and keep. Because the prices for it anyway only go up, it also makes sense to maintain this scooter and if you have fun with it, to invest in the accessories. The Cruiser windshield not only looks good, it also has a function.
Original Vespa Cruiser Flyscreen from Piaggio. The windshield is made of 4mm thick scratch and impact resistant methacrylate (Altuglas®). The material is insensitive and easy to clean.
With the small surface area, the windshield not only looks sporty, but also improves aerodynamics. The wind is directed over the driver and not infrequently this is noticeable by a higher final speed.
Due to the smaller surface, the crosswind sensitivity is significantly better than with higher discs. So an ideal touring disc with a sporty look.
The installation is simple and can be done even by inexperienced screwdrivers. The delivery includes the necessary mounting hardware.
The disc was homologated by Piaggio directly with the vehicle and this windshield is an original part. Therefore, you do not need an ABE, or the like. Also no sheet of paper on which it says that you do not need one.
TIP: To mount the windshield, the existing holes of the lower handlebar fairing must be extended against the direction of travel. These elongated holes are given on the inside of the fairing, indicated by light cast seams. The material is also deliberately kept very thin in this area, so machining is easy.
