DESCRIPTION:
It doesn't always have to be a new cylinder? Does the cylinder have no or little power? After a few thousand kilometers. the piston rings or even the piston should definitely be replaced. to ensure a reasonable compression.
For all current tuning and original cylinders we have the most important spare and wear parts for you in stock. i.e. pistons. Seal kits and piston rings.
Piston rings are the link between piston and cylinder bore. They are therefore also subject to heavy wear and should be replaced regularly. Loss of compression. Declining performance and poor starting behaviour are a clear indication of worn piston rings.
Piston ring set/s = complete set. 2 piston rings Piston ring= single piston ring. 1x standard dimension= original dimension
1st OCT / 2nd OCT = 1st interference. 2. oversize, etc.
Ø = gives the diameter of the cylinder!
an L- piston ring = piston ring with L-shaped cross-section. also called Dykes ring
Our TIP: Mount piston rings carefully. do not overstretch. there is otherwise a risk of breakage. Piston ring joint clearance. Note type and design. Trapezoidal rings have only one installation direction!
