DESCRIPTION:
The oil pump is the most important part on a two-stroke engine. This oil pump is installed on all two-stroke engines from the Piaggio group with automatic engine, i.e. Piaggio, Gilera, Vespa and Derbi. Two-stroke engines get their lubrication from mixed oil and do not have a closed oil circuit like four-stroke engines. If the oil pump does not work, the oil film breaks and you can destroy the entire engine if the crankshaft, crankshaft bearings, pistons and cylinders are no longer lubricated.
