The rim tape protects the tube from mechanical damage caused by spoke heads, metal burrs and holes in the rim.

TIP: The tire size 2.75-17 was used as standard on the rear wheel of the Simson S 53/83 OR, but can also be used on the Enduro version of the S51 with the appropriate rim. The tire is also suitable for scrambler conversions on Simson basis.
