DESCRIPTION:
The Capacitor Discharger Ignition (CDI), controls the ignition timing of the spark plug electronically and thus initiates the fuel combustion in the cylinder. The capacitor of the CDI is supplied with voltage via the battery or coil and is continuously charged. The greatest advantage of a CDI is that it is low-wear and maintenance-free. Although they have a higher switching effort, they generate much stronger ignition sparks than coil ignitions. The disadvantage, however, is that due to the compact design of modern CDIs, the two-wheeler usually does not start at all in case of a defect. If a defective ignition unit is found, the only solution is to replace it. Here we come into play and can offer you a new CDI ignition unit throttled to 45 km/h. It corresponds to the original, which was installed in the factory condition of the vehicle.
