DESCRIPTION:
Spark plugs must be able to withstand heavy loads. Therefore they must be changed regularly, even if the spark plugs are not broken. According to mechanics, this is the only way to guarantee optimum engine performance.
They ignite the air-fuel mixture in the engine several thousand times a minute. Depending on the manufacturer and engine, they last up to 60,000 kilometers, but at some point every spark plug is used up. Indications of this are starting problems, the vehicle stopping, reduced engine performance and increased fuel consumption. So a defective or outdated spark plug not only has a negative effect on your wallet, but also on your driving pleasure. If the electrodes look burnt or charred, the ignition spark can no longer jump over and a new one has to be fitted.
