Hercules is probably one of the best known bicycle and motorcycle brands in Germany. The company, founded by Carl Marschütz in 1886, is an essential part of the Nuremberg motorcycle industry. Due to the close cooperation with Fichtel & Sachs, F & S engines were installed in Hercules light motorcycles up to 200 cm³ from 1928 onwards.
This crankshaft set is suitable for Hercules models Prima GT, GX and Supra with the Sachs 506 engine. The set includes all spare parts needed to replace the crankshaft. Often the original crankshaft of the above mentioned models has too much clearance after a mileage of approx. 10.000 kilometers, which can lead to piston seizure. Therefore the crankshaft should be checked and replaced if necessary.
