Der Roller ist nicht nur mechanisch (z.B. Variomatikhülse) gedrosselt, sondern auch über eine Drehzahlbegrenzung in der CDI. Ohne den Austausch der CDI kann die Leistungsdrehzahl nicht im vollen Umfang ausgeschöpft werden. Selbst mit größerem Zylinder kann die maximale Geschwindigkeit nicht erreicht werden, da hohe Drehzahlen blockiert werden.
