Die im Set enthaltenen Ringe sind in einem speziellen Verfahren hergestellt und basieren auf Nitilkautschuk (NBR). Deshalb sind diese Ringe extrem langlebig. Nitrilkautschuk reagiert sehr resistent im Umgang mit Fetten, Ölen, und Kohlenwasserstoffen. Die Dichtringe werden mit festem Sitz im Gehäuse oder Gehäusedeckel eingebaut. Die doppelte Dichtlippe sitzt auf der Oberfläche der drehenden Welle und wird durch eine Feder auf diese gedrückt.
