1917 gründete Fritz Ludwig Neumeyer die Zünder-Apparatebau-Gesellschaft m. b. H., welche zu den großen deutschen Motorradherstellern gehörte. In der Zeit von 1921 bis 1984 wurden bis 1958 in Nürnberg und später in München praktikable Gebrauchsmotorräder gebaut. Die Firma ist heutzutage besser bekannt unter dem Namen Zündapp-Werke GmbH.

Dieser kurze Dämpfungsgummi wird zwischen den Kühlrippen des Zylinders verbaut und dämpft die Schwingungen des Zylinders ab. Der Gummi ist passend für die Zündapp Modelle GTS 50 und C 50 mit Superterm Zylinder.
