Zündapp Werke was founded in 1917 by Fitz Neumeyer and was designed for the production of armaments. In 1921, however, Neumeyer discovered a gap in the automotive and motorcycle industry. He built an inexpensive utility motorcycle for "everyone". The Zündapp Z 22 was sold very successfully until 1924 and the production volume increased steadily. The history of Zündapp goes back to 1984, when the company had to file for bankruptcy, thus sealing the end of the company's existence.

This cylinder kit has a displacement of 125 cc and a cylinder bore of 54 mm. It is suitable for the Zündapp model KS125. The kit contains the cylinder, the fan cylinder head and the piston set. The fan head ensures improved cooling of the cylinder. Due to its wider and more diversified cooling fins more air can flow through them and the cylinder is cooled down.
