Die Velozipedfabrik Carl Marschütz & Co. bzw. die Hercules Werke war einer der großen deutschen Hersteller für Mopeds, Mokicks und Mofas bis 200 ccm³. In der Zeit von 1928 bis zu den 1990er Jahren produzierte Hercules motorisierte Zweiräder mit Fremdmotoren von Fichtel & Sachs.

Der Kupplungsdruckstift ist in der Getriebevorlegewelle verbaut und drückt mit Hilfe des Kupplungshebels die Kupplungsdruckplatte in Richtung des Federtellers. Dadurch werden die Kupplungslamellen nicht mehr aneinander gepresst und die kraftschlüssige Verbindung ist nicht mehr gegeben. Dieser Druckstift hat eine Länge von 51,5 mm.
