Hercules is probably a well-known name to every oldtimer two-wheeler owner. The company was founded in 1886 by Carl Marschütz and produced bicycles until 1928. It was not until 1928 that the production of light motorcycles under 200 cccm³ was worthwhile again. Since this time the Hercules factories have been using foreign motors from Fichtel & Sachs.
This clutch pressure pin has a length of 6 mm and is installed in the transmission lay shaft or clutch basket. It is actuated by pushing the clutch lever against the pressure plate, which pushes it towards the spring plate. As a result the clutch plates are no longer pressed against each other and the shaft is disengaged.
