Die Hercules-Werke sind 1886 gegründet worden und stellten seit 1928 leichte Motorräder her. Das Unternehmen gehörte in den 1930er Jahren zu den größten Herstellern der Nürnberger Zweiradindustrie. Verbaut wurden in den Hercules Fahrwerken Motoren von Fichtel & Sachs.

Hier finden sie eine Lichtmaschine, auch LiMa genannt. Diese ist für die Erzeugung des elektrischen Stroms bei Fahrzeugen mit Verbrennungsmotor zuständig. Sie besteht aus einem drehbaren Rotor und einem festen Teil, dem Stator. Auf dem Stator sind die Zündspule, der Unterbrecherkontakt, die Lichtspule und der Kondensator befestigt. Bitte beachten Sie, dass er für die Sachs Motortypen 504 und 505 unterschiedliche Lichtmaschinen gibt. Die hier angebotene Lichtmaschine ist NUR passend für die Motoren 504.
