Die Zündapp-Werke GmbH wurde 1916 von Fritz Ludwig Neumeyer unter dem Namen ZÜNDer-APParatebau-Gesellschaft mbH gegründet. Seit 1921 ist das Unternehmen im Motorradbau und Motorbau vertreten. In den 1930er bzw. 1940er Jahren wurde Zündapp zu einer der fünf größten und bedeutendsten Motorradfabriken in Europa.

Diese Sicherungsfeder wird im Vergaser verbaut und verbindet den Starterschieber mit dem Druckstift. Passende Vergaser sind die Bing Modelle 1/16/70 und 1/15/46.
