1886/87 gründete Carl Marschütz zusammen mit seinem Bruder die "Nürnberger Velozipedfabrik Hercules". Die Produktion war zunächst auf Fahrräder ausgelegt. Ab 1928 lohnte sich die Produktion von Motorrädern wieder und Hercules produzierte leichte Motorräder bis 200 cm³. Als 1930 bei Fichtel & Sachs in Schweinfurt die Fertigung von Motoren begann, wurden diese sofort bei Hercules verwendet.

Hier finden Sie eine Düsennadel für Ihren 85er Vergaser. Die Nadel ist zusammen mit der Nadeldüse für die Regulierung des Kraftstoffzuflusses verantwortlich. Sie ist am unteren Ende kegelförmig und steckt in der Nadeldüse. Durch die Verbindung mit dem Gasschieber wird beim Betätigen des Zuges ein kleinerer bzw. größerer Ringspalt zwischen Nadel und Düse freigegeben, wodurch das Benzin zerstäubt werden kann.
