You want to take your moped out, but it always runs down when you start?
Check your fuel tap regularly. The fuel tap is located in the fuel line between the fuel tank and the carburettor. It must be opened and closed by hand.
The simple design of the fuel tap makes it hardly susceptible to faults. However, the fuel tap is not immune to wear. For example, the seals can harden, dry out or become brittle. The seals suffer and no longer hold properly tight. Fuel can then leak out of the petrol tap or false air can get into the system.
