DESCRIPTION:
The fuel tap is important for machines that draw fuel from the tank into the carburetor through the tap. The construction of the fuel tap is simple. It simply transports fuel from the fuel tank to the carburetor by gravity.
If the fuel tap is defective, the spit supply can also lead to an over- or undersupply of the carburetor. An oversupply occurs when the fuel tap leaks. The seals can harden, dry out, become brittle and porous. Undersupply occurs when the fuel cannot pass the fuel tap. This is usually caused by contamination of the fuel tap.
