Die Nürnberger Hercules Werke waren ein wesentlicher Bestandteil der Nürnberger Motorradindustrie. Die Motorradproduktion begann aber erst im Jahre 1928, also 42 Jahre nach Gründung des Unternehmens durch Carl Marschütz. Auch durch die Zusammenarbeit mit Fichtel & Sachs als Motorenlieferant, etablierte sich Hercules im Marktsegment der leichten Motorräder bis 200 cm³ und Fahrräder mit Hilfsmotor.
Dieses Tachoantriebsset besteht aus einem Schraubenritzel, einer Lagerbuchse, einem Gewindestutzen, zwei Scheiben und einer Sicherungsscheibe. Über das Schraubenritzel wird die Drehzahl des Motors aufgenommen und über die Tachowelle weiter zum Tacho gegeben. Das Set ist passend für die Sachs Motoren 50/3 und 50/4.
