Check your fuel tap regularly. The fuel tap is located in the fuel line between the fuel tank and the carburetor. It must be opened and closed by hand.

If the fuel tap is defective, the fuel can run unhindered from the fuel tank into the carburetor. The simmer chamber fills up. The excess fuel escapes and creates an unsightly puddle under your machine. The valuable fuel has been wasted unnecessarily.
