FLAT FUSES

Flat fuses in two-wheelers are so-called fuses. They consist of two electrical contacts which are connected to each other by a fusible link. The fuse melts as soon as the current intensity is too high over a longer period of time or rises too quickly, e.g. in the event of a short circuit - this protects the electrical consumers. Due to the design of the flat/fusible fuse, it can no longer be used after tripping and must be replaced.
