Determine an easily accessible spot high up on the Bowden cable. 2. Use a knife to cut a hole approx. 3x3 mm in size into the plastic casing of the Bowden cable housing. 3. Remove the metal clips from the Bowden cable oiler. 4. Clamp the Bowden cable oiler with the opening directly over the cut-out area. 5. Push the clips back into the ends and press them together with pliers. Lubrication: 1. Open the lid on the oiler. 2. Pour in a few drops of oil. 3. Close the lid. The oil inside flows downwards due to gravity and lubricates the entire Bowden cable.
