The valve stem seal basically has the function of covering the valve stems with sufficient lubrication. On the other hand, the engine burns uncleanly and oil consumption increases unnecessarily if oil enters the combustion chamber.
Only selected materials designed for the highest loads are used in the manufacturing process. A long service life is therefore "pre-programmed".
