Aufgepasst: Welle kann bei den Modellen S51, S70, S53 und S83 als Drehzahlmesserwelle genutzt werden. Bei den Modellen KR51 Schwalbe, SR4-2 Star, SR4-3 Sperber und SR4-1 Habicht als Tachowelle.
Die Tacho- bzw. Drehzahlmesserwelle treibt den Tacho bzw. den Drehzahlmesser an.
Die Welle ist mit einer schwarzen Außenhülle ausgestattet, in der die Seele läuft. Am Ende der Seele sind bei dieser Welle vierkant Metallstücke angebracht, damit Sie sie in den Drehzahl- bzw. Tachoantrieb stecken können. Dort werden sie mit jeweils einer M10x1 Mutter befestigt. Zwischen den Vierkantstücken ist die Welle aufgebaut wie eine handelsübliche Feder. Nur mit dem Unterschied, dass die Windungen der Feder so eng sind, dass sie sich sogar berühren. Durch diese Bauweise ist es möglich, dass sich die Seele auch dann dreht, wenn die komplette Welle gebogen ist.
