Die Zündapp-Werke GmbH wurde 1916 von Fritz Ludwig Neumeyer unter dem Namen ZÜNDer-APParatebau-Gesellschaft mbH gegründet. Seit 1921 ist das Unternehmen im Motorradbau und Motorbau vertreten. In den 1930er bzw. 1940er Jahren wurde Zündapp zu einer der fünf größten und bedeutendsten Motorradfabriken in Europa.

Dieser Kettenkastengummi wird zwischen dem vorderen Teil des oberen und unteren Kettenschutzes und dem Ausgang der Kette am Motorgehäuse montiert. Der Gummi schützt an dieser Stelle gegen das Eindringen von Wasser oder Schmutz. Die Gummimanschette ist passend für die Zündapp Modelle KS 50 und C 50.
