Bing carburetors are probably known to every two-wheeler mechanic. Already in 1933, at the beginning of production, manufacturers such as Hercules, Zündapp, Triumph or NSU were among Bing's customers. The company was founded as early as 1864 and was one of the largest manufacturers of toys until 1932. After bankruptcy, Fritz Hintermayr bought the rights to the name and began producing carburetors.
The nozzle needle is connected to the gas slide and dips into the needle nozzle. This system regulates the flow of fuel to the carburetor passage. The nozzle needle resembles a flat cone at the lower end. This frees up a larger or smaller annular gap between the needle and nozzle.
