Dieser Benzinhahn kommt bei Maschinen mit einem Fallbenzinsystem zum Einsatz. Die Funktionsweise des sogenannten "Fallbenzinsystems" ist simpel. Das Benzin gelangt ganz einfach durch "Fallen" - also durch die Schwerkraft - vom Kraftstoffbehälter zum Vergaser.
Ist der Benzinhahn undicht oder verdreckt, kann der Kraftstoff nicht mehr optimal transportiert werden. Wird zu wenig Kraftstoff an den Vergaser weitergegeben, dann kann dies bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten zu einem Kolbenklemmer führen. Wird allerdings zu viel Kraftstoff geliefert, dann läuft die Simmerkammer ungehindert voll und Ihr Fahrzeug säuft ab.
