In 1886/87 Carl Marschütz and his brother founded the "Nuremberg Velocipedfabrik Hercules". The production was initially designed for bicycles. From 1928 the production of motorcycles was worthwhile again and Hercules produced light motorcycles up to 200 cm³. When the production of motors started at Fichtel & Sachs in Schweinfurt in 1930, they were immediately used by Hercules.

The carburettor is responsible for the formation of the fuel-air mixture. It produces a combustible mixture, which is then fed into the engine's combustion chamber. The carburettor also contains the throttle element with which the power and thus also the torque is controlled. This 85/12/... carburettor has a passage of 12 mm. It is suitable for Hercules Prima, M, Jogging, Hobby Rider or Optima vehicles. Additionally you will receive a suitable air filter.
